Remembrance Sunday Service Cancelled

Remembrance Sunday 8th November 2020

The formal service at the War Memorial on Sea Road is sadly cancelled for Sunday 8th November due to the threat level from terrorism increasing in the UK and the numbers of the Covid virus cases in Thanet are increasing at this time. The community are encouraged to mark Remembrance Sunday appropriately by pausing for the Two Minute Silence even on their own doorstep or in their garden as it is more important than ever that we remember the fallen from conflicts. We recognise that this is deeply disappointing for everyone but the health and well-being of our community is important to us.
