Following the difficult pandemic period, many people have changed how they use a host of KCC services.

Michael Hill OBE, Cabinet Member for Community and Regulatory Services, is launching an inititave to engage residents around library services with the aim of seeing how this highly valued service should be developed for the future, accepting that customers' use may have changed as a result of the pandemic.

A process of engagement was launched on Wednesday 17 November and will be an ongoing coversation with residents, current library customers and those who do not use the service. It will run until March 2022.

The first phase asks customers how their usage of library services has changed, and will collect ideas for how people would like the service to develop.

Residents are able to take part digitally and also be visiting their local library. The link for the digital platform is www.kent.gov.uk/shapingkentlibraries
