POST OFFICE UPDATE

The Post Office have written to confirm that after their consultation with the public they are proceeding with the Post Office site at Station Superstore (49 Station Road).

Please note there has been a slight delay with installing the permanent Post Office counter. Please note the temporary Post Office will close at 5pm on Monday 15th November 21 and is scheduled to reopen with the new counter on Thursday 18th November 21 at 1.00pm.

Access - the Post Office intend to work closely with Station Superstore to look at the internal layout of the shop, ensuring the entrance, aisles and waiting area are kept free from obstructions and adequate room is provided for customers and wheelchair users to move around without difficulty.

Post Box - the decision on whether to relocate or install a new Post Box is decided by Royal Mail. Please note customers are able to hand their mail over the counter at the new branch during all the extended opening hours, where it will be securely held until collection by Royal Mail.
