Tree & Biodiversity Coordinator

Thanet District Council is hiring a Tree & Bisodiversity Cordinator.

One year part time (0.5 FTE) contract. Salary: £25,296 FTE

We are looking for someone who loves trees and plants to join our open spaces team! You will need a good level of fitness to water newly planted trees using a water bowser as you will be responsible for establishing newly planted trees. You will also maintain the wildflower meadows and assist our Open Spaces team and community groups with tree and biodiversity projects where resources allow.

You will investigate possible tree planting projects with the assistance of the Tree Officer and Climate Change Officer and help with promoting biodiversity throughout the district.
