Planning Response as Consultees

Planning Application Section

Westgate-on-Sea Town Council are statutory consultees for planning applications from Thanet District Council. Thanet District Council make all planning application decisions for the District but they must take into account views expressed by the Town Council and members of the public. These planning applications are considered at our monthly Full Council meetings. Members of the public are welcome to express their views on applications at these meetings by giving written notice to the Town Clerk by 4 pm on the Friday before the meeting. Members of the public may also express their views by visiting Thanet District Council's planning applications web pages by clicking here.
