Tim Green

Westgate-on-Sea Town Council Timothy Green

Tim Green is one of 9 Councillors elected on 4th May 2023.

Tim would like to think he is approachable, empathetic and hard working.

His vision is to ensure Westgate is;

  • Kept clean and tidy
  • Attractive to visitors
  • Settle any issues as best he can for the Town’s residents
  • Work collectively with his fellow councillors
  • Encourage and support small business
  • Ensure that allotments are maintained to good order
  • Be accountable to those that voted for him

Westgate has a great deal lot to offer people from outside of the Town, and he will do his very best in placing this wonderful Town on the map.

Tim moved to Westgate in 1996 buying his first house, and has been in the Fire Service since 1995.  Before this Tim served in the Royal Navy for five years of which he is extremely proud.

Tim and his partner have five children two of whom are grown up and his youngest has Downs Syndrome.

Tim has a beach hut in St Mildred’s Bay and spends a lot of time there in the summer months.

His interests are cycling, football, rugby, cricket, camping and walking with his dog.
