Meet the Kent Association for the Blind team at Age UK Thanet, Millmead Community Centre, on Friday 20th February between 10am and 3pm.
Kent Association for the Blind’s mobile sight centre, Iris, offers free support and advice to people who are living with low vision and those who have concerns about their eyesight. Its on-board team can signpost people to further support in their local area, make referrals to KAB’s additional services such as social groups, befriending and counselling, and demonstrate a range of assistive technology and day to day living equipment. It can also offer general advice on good eye health to help reduce preventable sight loss.
