West Bay Toilets Update

Following repeated enquiries by both Westgate-on-Sea Town Council, traders and concerned residents, Thanet District Council has confirmed that after investigations by a structural engineer, work will start to repair the West Bay toilets at the end of August, with a reopening date of mid-September.

To ensure the toilets remain serviceable and open in the future, TDC is working on a proposal for the building’s refurbishment which will include replacing the exterior render. Any major works will be timetabled outside of the May to September summer season.
