Road Closure Dane End Road

Please note – The below works have been extended and now have an estimated completion date of by 26th October 2025.

Southern Water - Temporary Road Closure - Dane End Road, Westgate On Sea - 9th October 2025.

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Southern Water, it will be necessary to close part of Dane End Road, Westgate On Sea, from 9th October 2025.

Dane End Road, Westgate On Sea, will be closed from the junction of Carlton Road East to outside number 9, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sea Road, Domneva Road, Ryders Avenue, Hengist Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing water works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Southern Water.
