NASH ROAD, MARGATE
(PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
TEMPORARY ORDER 2021
To allow junction modifications and improvements to be safely carried out in connection with a new development, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Nash Road, Margate.
The ongoing closure from 4 January 2021 has been extended and will now be in place until 7 March inclusive.
Nash Road is closed in the general vicinity of Nash Court, to actual extent shown on site.
The alternative route for through traffic is via B2052 Tivoli Road, Beatrice Road (College Road in opposite direction), A254 Ramsgate Road and Star Lane.
Local access to the remainder of Nash Road continues from either direction up to where the road is actually closed.
Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to re-open the road outside the working hours.
There is a chance that the planned dates may change, and updated information can be found on one.network, with any changes signposted on site and notified locally.
